Description: Batter up! Come out for an evening of fun and alums as BCSC continues its mid-summer tradition of a game at Chavez Ravine. This year, we’ll catch Joe Torre’s Dodgers hosting the always-competitive Braves.
Picking up tickets for the 7:10p game
- 6:00p-7:20p: Meet Brooke Dammkoehler and Rich Brest outside the stadium. We’ll set up camp at the right-field gate in front of the Jackie Robinson portrait near the intersection of Parking lots G and J (same spot as last year—make sure you’re in the right spot, there’s a Jackie Robinson poster on the 3rd base side, too). If you have trouble spotting us, call Brooke at 310-994-4472 or Rich at 847-721-3264.
- 7:20p-onward: Please call us on our cellphones to arrange pickup of your tix.
- This may sound obvious, but please leave early to allow for extra traffic. If you already know you won’t be at the game by 7:20, or need to make special arrangements ahead of gameday, please let Brooke know at brooked@mindspring.com.
Prices: $30 for BCSC members and their guests; $35 for non-members and their guests. (As in prior years, tickets will go fast. Purchase now to reserve a seat. Note that the face value for these tix is $50 each, so this is a great deal. Field box seats along 1st base line. Family-friendly event.)
