Beatrice Wood was a seminal artist who lived and worked on both the East and West coasts and bridged gaps between areas as disparate as New York Dada and Southern California ceramics. She lived and worked in Ojai until the age of 105!
SPECIAL OPTION AT 2:00PM : There will be an additional scheduled presentation by esteemed arts educator Philip Yenawine, co-founder of VUE (Visual Understanding in Education, www.vue.org) and former director of education at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. He will be applying his nationally recognized technique for looking and discussing art called Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). RSVP:COST: $20 includes admission (@ $5 museum donation) plus lunch buffet of assorted sandwiches, salad & dessert.
